Job lived not long after the flood and is among the patriarchs that lived longer lifetimes. It is estimated that Job lived over 200 years, and it is generally believed that he would have died before Moses was born.

God allowed Satan to test Job who was both a wealthy and righteous man. However, Job remained faithful to God against all odds, and God did not forsake Job.
